Stock market report – 21st march 2022

Nifty ends at 17392,Sensex gains 874 points.All sectors closed in green 

Indian equities closed in green with robust buying pressure in all sectors.IT stocks,heavy weight Reliance industries,Infosys and HDFC twins helped the market to move higher.

At Close, the Sensex was up 874 points or 1.53% at 57,911 and the Nifty was up 256 points or 1.49% at 17,392.Bank Nifty was up 1.38% at 36,816.

Eicher Motors,Coal India,M&M were the top Nifty50 gainers.Cipla,Hindalco,ONGC were top losers.

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries is set to become India’s first company to hit market capitalisation  of Rs 19 trillion after a strong rally over the past three trading days

Global cues:

Globally shares of European and US were mixed as inflation worries.In Asia shares in Japan,Australia advanced while Hongkong and Shanghai declined.Increasing oil prices, concerns over potential EU ban on Russian imports will be a short term problem for the markets

• Today most of the sectors ended in green except Media & entertainment which fell 0.12%.
• Nifty & IT Sectors were among the top sector gainers with 2.23% and 1.54% upside

Broader index:

• Today all the indexes ended in green 
• Small cap 50,Small cap 100 were the top gainers in index with 1.88%,1.55% upside
